Felicitation of Principal Ma’am by Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment

MMPS bagged 5th rank and prize in Mega Plastic Waste Collection Drive for collecting 135.0 kgs of plastic waste in association with Indian Centre for Plastic in the Environment. Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak received the Trophy and a Certificate from the Chief Guest Mr. Sumit Basu, CGM- Petrochemicals, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd amongst the presence of eminent dignitaries, Mr. S. K. Ray (Honorary Secretary of ICPE) Mr. Sudheer Khurana (Manager Systems & Communication - ICPE) and Mr. Ashish Jain, Founder & Director of IPCA on Wednesday, 26 July 2023 in a Felicitation Event of Plastic Collection Drive held in association with M.M. Public School Pitampura amidst the presence of 60 schools . The Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak in her address to esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Sumit Basu and esteemed dignitaries expressed gratefulness and gratification to all for their earnest endeavors in adopting the sustainable goals of saving and conserving the environment. which can help not only in waste reduction but also in taking recycling programs to the next higher level. The students created awareness among all about utilisation of 5 R's of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse ,Repurpose in a Nukkad Natak which also depicted the harmful effects of plastic on our environment.

The MMPS fraternity congratulated Principal Ma’am on taking up the Sustainable Development Goal of creating a healthier and greener environment in a fruitful manner.
